S4 League

S4 League was developed by Neowiz Games and it has already established a place in the market as being one of the top anime games of its time. It is completely online and it is incredibly fast paced so if you’re not quite into the fast paced gaming scene just yet, you might need to hold off with this one because it can be quite difficult to master. When you start up the game, you get the chance to choose from 8 different character types. Of course, each type of character has their own individual skills and unique arsenals as well, and there is always a long going debate with this that we are going to settle right here and now. The truth is that there is never one character type that is the best, it all depends on your combat style and the way you play, so with that cleared up, it’s time to move on to the next part of the review.
When you do have weapons, you can upgrade them however you want. This is great because it allows you to stick with the same choice if you want to keep it and it is also great if you want to do that bit more damage as well. This provides you with an all in all subversive experience with plenty of strategically based options to choose from. If you like to play in a team, you’ll be glad to know that the game play modes are all team based and when you think about someone else as opposed to yourself, you can always get a reward.
Of course, no game would be complete without a range of maps and modes to choose from. The updates have done a great job in adding more depth to this game and of course, that can only mean good things. The creators are continually hosting new events in which you can win special items and rewards and it is completely free to play as well so you don’t need to break the bank in order to get a game that you know you’ll love.
So now we’ve covered the good points about this game, it’s time to move on to the bad. The problem with this game is that the cash shop has become incredibly unbalanced. The events are directed towards the cash sale and this means that most of the events will be dominated instantly by those who are paying. You may be thinking, well why don’t people just pay? But the idea of this game is that it is free to play, and no matter how much time and effort you dedicate to it, you’ll never be the best unless you pay, so this concept is frustrating to a lot of gamers.
So what else do you need to know before we conclude this review? The game is full of techno music and it is a must play for anyone who is a fan of MMO. The two most popular modes remain to be Deathmatch and Touchdown. Deathmatch is a team vs team game and whoever has the most kills at the end, wins. In Touchdown, you basically need to capture the flag. The idea is to get the ball from within the area and bring it to your enemy flag before you die.
With rockets, swords and a huge range of weapons available, we’d be lying if we said that this game isn’t worth playing, but the fact that it is cash dominated is discouraging to say the least so overall, it’s average but don’t commit endless hours because unless you pay, you’re wasting your time.
